I’d like to share a retrospective of our year 2021.

Laurent, Lili, and I joined Axeme this year. We are now active in recruiting profiles all across Europe!

To respond to the strong regulatory changes in our industry, I specialized in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QARA) profiles. As a result, we processed over 291 applications in QARA.

Besides recruitment, I led the update of our website and strengthened our communication through social media, especially on Twitter and Facebook!

2021 was also a year of partnerships for us.

We created an Alliance with five companies specialized in complementary fields: Audit&RiskSolutions, ICOSA, IODA, LifeAvocats, and MDxp.

The goal is to pool our skills to offer a range of services to startups working on new projects such as medical device development, product registration in new countries, distributor search, clinical studies, implementation of quality systems, and talent recruitment.

Axeme gets involved at the start of projects to recruit new talents for startups and later during product market launch to motivate teams throughout the process.

We also established a new partnership with Brikx Consulting, a company developing tailored methods that have helped over 350 decision-makers optimize their resources and performance — a way to better support decision-makers in the health industry.

On that occasion, I co-hosted with Christine Horvais a webinar entitled “How to improve your daily performance?” — a presentation of the training program highlighting key points for industry leaders to help them take a professional leap and manage strategic challenges within their companies.

We had the pleasure of showcasing the talents of Johann Bayle through a new webinar: “When magic inspires business!” Johann is a magician and speaker who uses magic principles to energize seminars in companies of all sizes, including large industrial groups. His approach combines amazement, storytelling, and strategic questioning to help companies face their challenges by linking the world of magic with business. The three themes covered were goals and motivation, the power of intuition, and the art of persuasion. A wonderful surprise for us and the leaders!

I had the privilege to organize Axeme’s participation in its first 100% digital event: the 6th Innovative Medical Device Startups Day organized by Snitem. 18 startups participated with 1,100 attendees. The whole Axeme team engaged with visitors at our booth throughout the day about their projects. We also led a workshop with MD101 to present our innovative recruitment solution addressing the new regulations in the medical device industry.

Challenge successfully met — a great experience to renew in 2022, this time in person!

Together with Christine, I also participated in the CY Tech School’s virtual Student/Company forum. We organized a conference on careers in the medical device industry to showcase various professional opportunities to students.

In June 2021, I had the chance to attend my first in-person congress with Christine: the SRLF! A true opportunity for me to meet companies and candidates. Axeme was also present at the JFR and Sofcot congresses, key annual events for us!

In short, 2021 was a year full of events despite the Covid-19 crisis — it didn’t stop us from achieving many great things!
